Growing up in the Midwest, a sense of striking the balance between a strong work ethic and being community focused was instilled in me. My family members were farmers and funeral home owners. Preparing for both planned and unplanned life events was part of my childhood education.
As small business owners, having access to employer sponsored financial planning and benefits was limited. Working with independent financial advisors was something I grew up with and became increasingly curious about throughout the years.
After a rewarding career in the non-profit sector, my focus turned to the financial industry. I hold Series 7 and 66 registrations. Am registered as a life, health and hazard insurance agent.
In my free-time, I enjoy volunteering, reading, golfing, traveling and gardening.
